Pastor Bryan began his formal ministry at a church in Vancouver, WA after attending Boise Bible College and graduating from Multnomah Bible College. In 2007 he was hired as a Youth Director and enjoyed working with Jr. High age students for several years. In 2010 he was promoted to Youth Pastor where he began leading the youth program which included Jr. High and High School. During this time he worked with the congregation to launch a Student Center for the community high school age students as an after school program. Additionally, he led the outreach ministries for this church.
In 2013 Pastor Bryan was hired by Cornerstone Church of Ione as the Associate Pastor with a primary responsibility of the youth program. He has always had a passion for Jr. High through college age students because of the heavy influence and targeting of young people by secular culture. His approach was “If I teach people the truth of the Bible, it will affect all the other areas of their life.” This created a method that fights against getting distracted with contemporary topics and allows a strong understanding of the Bible to influence the way we think about those same topics and live each day.
In 2018 Cornerstone Church called Bryan to be Lead Pastor. He is now the primary preaching Pastor here at Cornerstone Church and thoroughly enjoys the challenges and blessings of the role. His week consists of prayer, study, sermon preparation, counseling, leader meetings, and other administrative duties. Pastor Bryan loves the Lord, loves people, and enjoys serving at Cornerstone Church.
On a personal note, he has a lovely family. His wife’s name is Emily and they have been married since 2006. Pastor Bryan and Emily met in High School and attended the same youth program at a local church in Washington state. They now have five children and they live a very active life as the kids participate in various activities and the family enjoys the outdoors.
Pastor Bryan would love to talk with you if you have any thoughts or questions. So, feel free to reach out to him any time.
